Mars needs mechanics, plumbers and electricians.
Jan Osburg, commander MDRS crew 37 [[1]] & 47 [[2]]
A remark true to being an engineer from a Technical University (Georgia Tech) himself, but mostly as true as an assessment of life on analogue, and true, Mars can be.
Expect life to be hard for the machines and so hard for the mechanics, the plumbers, and the electricians. As crew engineer prepare for your machines to break down on you, and ofcourse always on inappropriate moments. Know though that the Engineering Team will be there for you, not just during the Comm window, but almost 24/7 to help you repair their, and your, machines and systems.
Holler, and we will come running.
You will find that you can excel all your expectations about how handy you are. Hablife will do that to you.
Keep Heart!
