It is very important that the following priorities be followed in ALL your MDRS activities:
SAFETY
Simulation
Science
Public Relations
Comfort

Being a daredevil would get you kicked off the astronaut corps lightning fast.
This is no different for the MDRS.
SAFETY is your primary obligation, both to yourself, your fellow crewmembers, and anyone else.
You must evaluate all your actions BEFORE taking them to judge that you and others will be safe.
Do not do anything that would endanger anyone, including yourself, to maintain the Mars simulation,
to perform scientific or engineering investigations, to engage in public relations, or to enhance comfort.
The other priorities follow in a similar manner.
Your comfort is last, but that's how the cookie crumbles for Marsonauts, simulated or not.
